Our VFW Post 880 located on the corner of 24th Street and Ave K in Galveston (enter on Ave K side) is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
We welcome everyone to come into the Post for a meal or a drink.
Give us a try. We have the cheapest drinks in the city and delicious 1/3 lb burgers on Tuesday and Steak or Salmon dinners on Friday

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 880 in Galveston on the Corner of 24th Street and Ave K will be serving Free BBQ dinners to all 1st responders. Including Police, Sheriff, EMS personnel, Doctors and Nurses. To Thank them in a small way for all that they do.
We will be serving In House Smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Commander Dean's in house Pork Sausage, Cole Slaw, Rice and Beans.
If you would like to order some for your Fire House or Station call us after 10 AM at 409-763-9866 and we will get them ready for you to pick up.
We will Start serving at 11 AM until we are out of food. Last year we did about 250 meals and were done by 1 PM. So come early. In or out of uniform. And you can take it to go or eat here and we will supply free soda or bottled water with meals.

Full 1/3 lb Angus burgers cooked over a flame charbroiler. Best burgers in town.
Available Hamburgers, Cheese burgers, Bacon Cheese burgers chicken sandwiches (spicy or regular), hot dogs, jumbo dogs, nachos, French fries, tater tots and onion rings. Add chili or cheese to anything!

Steak Night. 1 lb Ribeye, T-Bone or Salmon with baked or sweet potato, salad and dessert, price varies depending on steak prices.
Currently Salmon blackened in a cast iron skillet (used only for Salmon) with butter and seasoning only $17.50.
T-Bones $20.50 and Ribeyes between $24.50 and $28.50.
Steaks average 1 lb or more and cooked over a flame charbroiler with our special seasoning.
Customers have told us we have the best Salmon and Steaks in the county. Come and try one for yourself.

Texas Hold'em Style Poker Tournament every Monday & Thursday Nights. Come out and play a few hand with your friends.
Games start at 6:30 pm and run till 11 PM or later. Register before 6:15 and receive extra chips!
The kitchen is open serving most of the items on burger night plus some specials each night.
